Venge Family Reserve 2000 100 pt. (tasted 12/9/10)
Frankly this is one of the best cabs I've ever tasted in my life. Multiple tiers of flavors going on, long long finish and you can chew it. If you can find this wine, sell it to me...or do yourself a favor, drink it!

Venge Family Reserve 2003 92 pt. (tasted 12/26/10)
A full bodied wine, deep ruby in color, blackberry, cedar and currant on the palate, with a long smooth finish. An outstanding wine. Cellar for at least 2 more years before opening. It has not yet developed the multi-dimensional flavors Venge is known for.

Venge Scout's Honor 2003 92 pt. (tasted 12/26/10)
A full bodied, ruby colored wine. Red berries on the nose and herbs and earth on the finish. Lovely wine; bought 2 cases. Not at peak yet, hold for 1-3 years.

Venge Scout's Honor 2006 92 pt. (tasted 4/25/11)
Dry cherry, sour cherry, white pepper, spicy and herbaceous. Eucalyptus and dark chocolate. A nice long finish. Will benefit from age. Venge always has multi-dimensional flavors that never disappoint. Cocoa and coffee emerge on the palate. Paired with a bone-in prime rib roast and asparagus and it was exceptional.
