SPINACH SALAD LIKE THE GOLDEN LION RESTAURANT
1 lb. fresh spinach, stems removed and cut
1 red onion, sliced
1 c. garlic croutons
1 lb. bacon, fried, drained and crumbled
Toss spinach and onion with dressing. Top with croutons and bacon.
WARM SPINACH SALAD DRESSING:
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. dark vinegar
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg, well beaten
1 t. corn starch
Cook all ingredients over low heat, stirring constantly, til thickened.
