SWEET POTATO BREAD (Millie’s)
Mix:
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1/3 c. water
2 eggsMix dry ingredients:
2 c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1/2 t. baking powder
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. allspiceAdd:
1/2 c. yellow raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. mashed sweet potatoes.Mix with the 1st mixture and pour into a sprayed loaf pan. Bake 350° for 1 hour. Cool the sweet potato bread for 10 minutes and turn out onto a rack to cool completely. Store the sweet potato bread in the refrigerator or freeze.
