FROZEN BANANA-CRANBERRY DESSERT (Lucy Taylor's)
1 can (20 oz.) pineapple tidbits, drained, reserving juice
5 medium bananas, sliced
1 can (16 oz.) whole berry, cranberry sauce
1/2 c. sugar
1 carton (12 oz.) Cool Whip
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Marinate sliced bananas in the reserved pineapple juice. In a large bowl, combine cranberry sauce and sugar; mix well. Add bananas and discard the juice. Stir in remaining ingredients and pour into a (9x13 inch) dish. Freeze until solid (12 hours to overnight). Remove from freezer 15 minutes before cutting.
