LEMON PIE CAKE (Pauline's)
Prepare 1 box yellow batter cake mix in a (9x13 inch) pan and pierce it generously with a fork. prepare 1 box of lemon gelatin and pour it over the hot cake. Refrigerate long enough for it to "gel" inside the cake. Cover with Cool Whip. Make a little "fence" around the outside edge of the cake. Pour 1 can of lemon pie filling over the Cool Whip; refrigerate. Serve right in the pan.
