FROSTING WITH GRANULATED SUGAR (Madeline's)

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter

Beat with electric mixer til smooth and fluffy (start on medium and go to hi). In a pan, heat up 1 c. milk. Mix together 4 T. water, 4 T. corn starch, add to the milk and bring to boil. Cool. Add to the creamed mixture and beat 15 minutes on high.
