BANANA DELIGHT (Helen Garvock)

CRUST:
2 c. flour
1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 c. pecans, chopped fine

Blend all ingredients together well. Press onto the bottom of a (9x13 inch) pan. Bake 375° if using a glass pan (or 400° for metal) for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and crumble with a fork into small pieces while still warm.

FILLING:
1 c. confectioners sugar
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 c. Cool Whip
1 t. vanilla

Mix together and place 1/2 of mixture over cooled crumbs. Slice 3 bananas over top. Mix 2 pck. instant banana or vanilla pudding with 2 c. milk and 1 t. vanilla. Spread over bananas. Top with remaining Cool Whip mixture. Sprinkle with extra chopped or ground pecans. Chill at least 6 hours or overnight.
