Bob likes to make these baked breakfast bananas for Sunday brunch. I only had 2 officer!
BAKED BREAKFAST BANANA (Bob Allison's)
Take a banana and pierce all over with a fork. Drizzle with some type of liqueur such as Dry Vermouth wine, Triple Sec or Orange Curacao Liqueur. You can add a few drops of white Creme-De-Menthe over top if desired. Then sprinkle with grated orange peel and pumpkin pie spice (or spices such as nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon or whatever you like) just a light dusting. Wrap individually in foil and place in a 350° oven for 20-30 minutes. This make a remarkable side dish. When you remove from the oven, be careful when opening the foil as they are very hot. Drizzle the juice over the top of the bananas just before serving.
