FROM ROB'S VISIT TO THE BV WINERY IN NAPA VALLEY

We had a wonderful visit at BV wines (Beaulieu Vineyards) and got the chance to taste wines that are only available at the BV vineyard. BV was kind enough to share one of their dessert recipes with us, here it is. Rob.

MUSCAT CARAMEL CAKE (www.bvwine.com 800-373-5896)

1 box yellow cake mix
1 pkg. instant lemon pudding
4 eggs
1/2 c. canola oil
1/2 t. nutmeg
1 c. BV Muscat wine
1/4 c. caramel sauce

Preheat oven to 350°. Combine all ingredients except caramel sauce and mix with an electric mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into a Bundt pan and bake 35-40 minutes til top is firm and toothpick comes out clean. Invert to cool for 35 minutes. Remove from pan and drizzle with your favorite warm caramel sauce.
